Day 52 - Maple Ridge

The South Maple Ridge Covenant Church, a simple Gothic Revival frame building constructed in 1897, has an unadorned interior with its original woodwork and benches. The building, no longer used, is maintained by the Maple Ridge Cemetery Association. A cemetery is immediately to the north. To reach the site, from State Highway 65 drive west on Isanti County Road 3 for six miles, then south on County Road 1 for one-half mile. The Swedish Mission Church of South Maple Ridge, organized in 1884, is south of the intersection of County Roads 1 and 3.
