Day 336 - Pecatonica
Several old Swedish Lutheran congregations still exist in towns surrounding Rockford. The oldest one meets in the red-brick First Lutheran Church of Pecatonica at E. Sixth and Taylor Streets (815-239-2390). Organized in 1857, the congregation built this church in 1881.
