Day 126 - Lake Benton
In this southwestern Minnesota community is the Ernest Osbeck House, 106 S. Fremont. Osbeck, born in Alvesta, Sweden, in 1859, arrived in Lake Benton in 1884 and helped organize the Lake Benton Co-op Creamery Association, the local bank, and the Lake Benton Opera House. His home, built in 1887 in the Queen Anne style, remains a private residence.
